I've been eyeing Dozens for a year after seeing reviews on Yelp, and today I decided we'd give it a try.  I was almost afraid that it wouldn't live up to the reviews, but it did and then some.  My complaint is that the food arrived so hot I had to wait to eat it - I don't remember the last time I was in a restaurant that served food really HOT.

My omelet was perfect and was a decent size, the potatoes were great, the coffee was really decent and the server was knowledgeable and friendly.  Randy's scramble was great, colorful, chocked full of veggies.   The sausage patties were tasty, but smallish.

The dish names were not intuitive, so you do have to read through the entire menu to find the simplest dish. But it is really worth it.

We'll definitely make this a favorite spot and take friends.

By far THE best biscuits and gravy I've ever had!

With a name like How The West Was Won how could you go wrong?  This gut busting, heart attack on a plate is the perfect hangover cure.  What immediately stood out is the two huge sausage patties on top of two fluffy biscuits drowning in a mass of sausage gravy.  Oh yeah.  Now that's what I'm talking about!  Not only is this a gastronomic mass but every guilty bite was better than the last.  Spicy breakfast sausage with creamy gravy and warm chewy biscuits.

Your only problem will be trying to get up out of the booth!

Not to be attempted by the weak of stomach, consume this at your own risk of complete food coma.

The food was decent but over priced for what you get, in my personal opinion. First restaurant I've been to that only give you one slice of toast...seriously! That was not cool and I wasn't going to pay the price of a loaf of bread for another slice of toast...not that I checked the price.

My daughter had the biscuits and gravy. Much different and better tasting than most other restaurant's version but a little on the salty side. Not salty just a bit on that side. If you're watching your sodium intake, these won't be a good choice.

Waitress was okay and service is very important to me. I think I may have been a bit more satisfied had she had some spunk or something.

The menu is an ordeal. All these clever little names as titles for meals so it took me a while to figure out what was what. Didn't like that at all. I came hungry and had to do school. Again...not cool. To me, anyway.

It's a decent place but I'm really not impressed. Could have gotten a lot more food and better service at a lower price at the Breakfast Inn.

Tried a few meals from there. Some are good, some just okay. The Steamboat was quite tasty. They have decent coffee and attentive staff. The place can be a bit crowded but I guess that means people like it! Good, not great.

I'm happy at Dozens. They have one of the best grilled turkey, guacamole pepper jack sandwich I've ever had! I also love their Aspen which is weird in theory but tastes so good and very healthy. Its roasted red peppers and garlic tossed in a scramble with feta and avocado. Love their other one w/ chicken and hollandaise too.

They have great coffee and service. The wait moves fast on Sundays but beware they close early at like 2 I think.

Also they have a slightly different menu than the downtown location so if your looking for the grilled sandwich I think its only at Aurora-

Nice Patio when its open:)

ALso if you want to take a picture of a cinnamon roll in another country they'll post it on their wall!! HA !

I really like local eateries that are not chain-y, so I really appreciate the feel of this place. The omelets I tried were good and the server's attitude was great, even accommodating my fidgety kid.

I hear I've gotta try the cinnamon roll...

This has been one of my favorite places for years.  It has some of the best breakfast omelets anywhere.  I don't know what it is, but there is something different about the eggs in their omelets.  I love the 6th Avenue Interchange, but I usually substitue tomatoes for the spinach.  The potatoes they serve are cooked with onions which makes them just a little more special than the potatoes you get at most places.  The meals are good size and definitely will not leave you feeling hungry.

If you are looking for lunch selections, the sandwiches are great and the salads are tasty.  They have one of the best fruit bowls around.  It is a large bowl of fruit, not just a tiny serving.  The muffins are also delicious.

Service is nearly alway prompt and the staff is friendy.  I have never had to wait very long for the food to be served, even when they are busy.  This is one place I have never tired of even after 15 years.

Okay, I'd come back for a good cup of coffee alone. While the service is friendly he did not get it filled as often as I like. I had the Western Slope. Their green chili was tasty and the omelet was okay. It's true, the potshots are bland but the cinnamon roll was good.
